  I remember watching that Olympics here in Northern California, seeing the events being staged in various LA venues I knew so well and feeling strangely homesick.

    Yeah...i used to swim in the old 30's pool before they put the new one in.Walked in that stadium before this happened.It was sum else.

      We went and saw women's gymnastics. I can hardly remember. I think it was at UCLA.

        My dad and uncle saw the Opening Ceremonies of the original Olympics held at the LA Coliseum..in 1932!
